Can you order a book for me?
Yes! Just give us a call or come in and let us know which book you would like. You pay for the book at the time you place the order with us and we’ll call you when your book is ready to pick up. The turn around on a requested book order is usually 1-2 weeks.
Can I pre-order an anticipated book with Marigolds?
Yes! We place pre-orders and we will put your book back for you until you can come in to pick it up. You pay for your book at the time of pre-order.
Do you rent out your space?
Yes! Please go to our book an events page for rental inquiries.
Do you have a book club?
How do I join?
Yes, Marigolds has two book clubs. Goldies Book Club which has been going strong since Marigolds opened in 2024. B.O.O.K. (Brothers of Outstanding Knowledge) Club is a men’s focused group. All are welcome at both book clubs. Book Clubs meet monthly and dates are TBD and announced on socials.
You can join either book club by buying the book and showing up! It’s that easy. If you already have the book, there is a small fee that covers your beverage and bites for the night.
Does Marigolds take like new book exchanges for store credit?
Yes, Marigolds takes used, like new books in exchange for store credit. These exchanges are made on a book to book basis at the discretion of our book sellers and our current store needs.
Does Marigolds take book donations?
Yes, Marigolds takes book donations. We do ask that books are in good condition (no torn covers, missing pages, water damage, doodles in books, etc.) and relevant (for example, while we appreciate it, please do not bring us academic text books as they are usually revised annually and we do not have a section in the shop for text books).
If it hurts your heart to toss a book and we can’t take them, give your books a second life in a Little Free Library. There are several LFL scattered throughout Bartlesville. You can find your nearest LFL at https://littlefreelibrary.org/
